Location: Strays Newark Time and Date : On Wed 14th August 7pm til 8pm Currently, our plan is to host a support group that is run by us teens for other young people aged 12-16. We have secured a location to host this at Strays in Newark between 7pm and 8pm on Wednesday the 14th of August . This mental health support group can be an access point for young people to take the first step in getting help. Disclosure- We are not trained Counsellors : we are only teenagers ourselves, consequently any serious issues will have to be referred to outside mental health organisations but we are happy to help with the process and be a guide in your journey. In addition to this a trained professional from CASY's or a trained mental health nurse will be available on site to help with referrals and the session itself. Adults will also be on site while the session is running for health and safety reasons. |
